UNIT 2: THE AGE OF POLITICAL REVOLUTIONS

Here you have some videos about the political revolutions of the 18th and 19th centuries. We will start chronologically from the first of them: th American Revolution. You will find several videos of John Green, try to follow them without subtitles and only at the end -if you give up understanding him- complete it with the written help. He is quite precise and good in his analyses even when he seems to be joking all the time.

Enjoy them and learn a lot!!

AMERICAN REVOLUTION PART 1 NOV 2014

This is a summary of the first class about American Revolution by Trevor. He was so excited explaining it that was able to involve everyone with his enthusiasm

THE FRENCH REVOLUTION

The outbreak of the French Revolution in 1789 marks the start of the Modern Age. As we have studied in the previous lesson the enlightened despots failed to make the political, economic and social changes that Enlightenment thinkers had proposed. Revolutionaries imposed by force and revolution those changes demanded.
